Adoption Guidelines: 

• We only accept applications for animals that are available for adoption. Please do not apply early as your application will not be accepted. 

• There is a $5 application fee payable via Venmo, PayPal, or Donorbox.

  • Please send us an email or message if you are unable to use these platforms​.

• All young kittens must be adopted out to a home with other companion animals or in pairs. There are no exceptions.

• All puppies/young dogs adopted from FTLOJ are required to be enrolled in training classes after adoption. We will provide you with positive reinforcement trainer recommendations.

• All cats and dogs in the applicant's home must be up to date on yearly preventative wellness care in accordance with your own vet's recommendations. 

  • Yearly exam​

  • Recommended vaccinations​​ or titer testing

  • Recommended lab work

    • Fecal testing ​

    • Heartworm testing

    • Blood work panel

• Apply only when you have made a thoughtful decision to adopt a pet. Pet ownership is a serious commitment.
